12 bore magnum boxlock William Moore & Grey shotgun



An exceptional shotgun by William Moore & Grey, 8 Craven Street, Strand, London. Chopper lump and immaculate 30” steel barrels, dolls’ head, Anson & Deeley hammerless boxlock system as originally patented in 1875, choked half and full. This is a very beautiful and reliable classic boxlock gun with a unique origin and history, chambered 2” ¾ . As one of the later guns of William Moore & Grey, it is a very strong and robust live pigeon gun, being magnum proofed already in 1911. Part of the William Moore & Grey Collection.
